The rulebook

How it works.

The one rule

The entity with the highest fan bid holds #1 in its category. That's it. No jury, no secret formula, no season-long points race — a public board that anyone can move with a dollar.

Placing a fan bid

Every fan bid starts at $1 — one dollar. To take the top spot you must beat the current high bid by at least $1.00; to climb without taking #1, any accepted amount moves you up if it passes someone else's total.

Your display name goes on the record next to every bid you place. The full history stays public on each page.

What a fan bid is

A fan bid is a statement of support. It is not an investment, a donation with returns, a share of anything, or an official valuation of any player, club or competition.

You're buying nothing but bragging rights — the right to say you put your favorite where they stand.

Fair play

One supporter pass per person. Sockpuppet armies, bot bidding and payment fraud get passes revoked and pages unlisted.

Report anything shady from any page's report link — moderators review the queue daily.

Payments & refunds

Fan bids are processed securely by our payment provider and are final once placed — they immediately change a public ranking that others may have bid against.

If a payment fails, the bid simply doesn't count; you're never charged for a rejected amount.

FootballBid is a fan-powered entertainment platform. Fan bids determine FootballBid rankings only — they do not represent official player, club, competition or transfer valuations.
